RESIDENTIAL

BUILD WITH CONFIDENCE.

Designing your new custom home involves a deep understanding of your design objectives, site constraints including the site orientation to sun, views, entry approach, geography, and other special features of the property. We integrate our designs to the site, interior flow, and landscape elements to reflect our holistic approach.

Our job is to be your advocate. Our vigilance begins during the initial creative sessions and lasts through the final touches on Architectural exterior and interior finishes. We are your personal guide as the project moves from an abstraction to a real structure resulting in architecture that surpasses expectations.

SKYFALL REFLECTION

Our clients wanted an interactive house where they could raise their kids with the lake access in mind. They lived in the older home on this property and decided to build new there for there family lifestyle, including boating, water toys, lots of usable decks, and views from all rooms. We designed a wide house to take advantage of the views and mixed materials of stucco, siding, and stone base for this family-friendly and sophisticated home.

Responding to the site conditions and views this house takes a commanding stature
onto the property. The project design is wide so each room has a view of the water. The heavy use of natural cedar siding, fir beams and stone create a natural and inviting place to just be at ease with the environment.

The project included a see-through upper cabinet to the large covered outdoor room. The great room concept with painted wood ceilings added character to this traditional-style home.

watercourse challenges. The final design responded to all the issues resulting in a low sloping northwest contemporary roofline and a Nantucket style character achieving our clients’ design objectives for this waterfront family home.

EUROPEAN FLAIR

The owners wanted a traditional house character with a European flair—the exterior detailing shows off the traditional rooflines and natural shingle siding.

The project highlights are the curved entry stairs with open dining and living spaces. The arched window wall frames the water view from the house entry.

THE HOME OF THE AIRPLANE

This airplane hangar and house design were inspired by the beachfront style and easy in and outflow of the one-story home. Fir trim and details throughout juxtaposed with the dark shingle exterior allow the wood detailing to stand out. The commercial hangar door has another sliding door and roofline attached to it so as to look like a residential facade matching the main house.
